  1. Hello, Im new to this site and have been looking around. I was very excited when I found the pregnancy thread. I had my surgery in Feb of this year. To date I've lost a total of 153lbs. During this journey I've noticed a marked increase in my sex drive. Recently, I've noticed some strange changes in me. My period was a little late and was extremely short for me; only part of one day. My back has been killing me, I don't seem to do anything but cry and now I can't eat without throwing up. Im very tired and Im not the only one who has noticed the changes. My boyfriend made a comment yesterday too. So, my question to you guys is this...does having the lapband increase your chances of becoming pregnant? Do any of these symptoms sound familiar? I have an appt with my general practioner next week. I would like to be prepared with all the knowledge I can gather before I go see her. Any advice will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
