  1. Hey everyone! I'm Jeanette from TX. I'm hopefully getting banded in March, but no set date yet. I've been overweight since I was 13 and I'm sick of it...tried all the diets, etc, and nothing's worked. I almost got banded in April 09, but chickened out because I was scared, but now that I've found y'all and read lots of blogs, I'm ready for it! I'm excited, I WANT THIS!!
  2. I almost had lapband in June 2009. I started the pre-op diet and scheduled my surgery, but then I chickened out. Mostly because I'm afraid of having gas and vomiting for the rest of my life. Here are my questions: 1. How often does gas and vomiting occur? 2. Also, can you see the port below your skin; is it obvious? 3. How long were you out of work? Thanks in advance for your help.
