Good morning all, Does anyone know the date of the next newport Fill Clinic?

This was in feb, was deffo free then. On a lighter note I finally got restriction now I had my 3rd fill. Got 10ml in a 14 band and it just right :-)

Hotel has free wireless internet and a pc in thr lobby you can pay and use as well. I would take ur laptop and a few films cos it does get boring sat in ur room.no blueys though cos u don't want to strain urself :-)

Here's a thought folks why don't we have a banded by doctor chris meet up somewhere?

You aint been scammed hun. Fred is an arse on emails but a good bloke I sent em the full amount by bank transfer with no problem but I was bricking it for a while :-). X

This really concerns me. I spoke to both Frederick & Dr Chris about possible revision surgery should something go wrong and they both advised me of the following. 1. If I use Fred & Chris for my fills exclusively then any remedial surgery required will be covered by Dr Chris. 2. If I use a 3rd Party filler who then damages anything then any warranty is void. This means that as long as you use their dedicated filling service your warranty is void. If they are advising us we have a guarantee then reneging on any guarantees when they are required then we all need to make our feeling known. Please keep us posted on this as it affects us all.

Personally I would not dream of using a third party filler like wls. If they were to puncture your port or tubung you have no comeback. If chris's team puncture it they repair it for free. If you got to wls you could invalidate your warranty :-)

I was surprised when fred said that as well, didn't think it was that big. They said no grub for 2 days does that mean sun or mon?

You will soon lose that now you have your fill, just a case of grinding it down x

Yes thats it, I went form nearly 25 stone to 13 and a half about 18 months ago. Since then its been steadily creeping up so decided to do this proactivly before it became a big problem. Nice to put names to faces, very small room wasnt it.

Well the fill went well got 6mls in my 20ml band. The protein shakes are definately gurgling down slower. Also got told by fred that the lump under my port was a bleed. He reckons its not a problem and will disperse of its own accord over the next few months. Fortunately it did not effect his ability to find port (although he thought it would). Very painless and simple.

Will fo I will be the one in the red checked shirt. been nearly 4 weeks so checked with fred it was ok before booking. Don't want to wait till end of march when he's next in town so earlier seemed best. Have lost about 17 lbs since op but have little rstriction so need this before the porking kick in. See u all tomorrow. If anyone is coming from bristol there welcome to a lift.

Little bit concerned folks hope someone can help. Had the band fitted on tuesday, was 17st 12lb when it was done am now 16st 13lb. Scars are healing well apart from the one on my left hand side, it has bruised up like hell and I can feel a hard lump in there. Gut feeling is this is the port and its bruised cos its sewn to muscle there's no pain just feels odd. Or am I totally wrong here and need to go docs advice apeciated folks. Thank you x

Glad my thoughts helped. With regards to the xray check dr chris saif it was because a lady from belfast claimed he band was incorrectly fitted after 4 days. It was ok when she left them. So now just to be sure they give evreyone an xray while u drink a weird bitter chalky drink to check all is ok. No problem reially except the drink is a laxative and makes u go ang go quickly

Cheers for all you kind comments folks, bit more without today so though i would jot down some tips for those that come after me. When Frederick Comes to you room buy air freshener cos the bugger farts at the drop of a hat. There is free wireless internet at Campomile hotel, usename camp, password 2009. Night before you got to hospital the hotel does nice food expect to pay 23 - 33 euro for 3 course meal. They automatically gave me a twin room i asked nice and got a double, big bed is best when your sore. You get private room in Hospital which has lockable valubles cuboard and a wardrobe. Room also has telly, radio and hand controls. The bathroom in not too good just a toilet and a sink, if you decide to have a good wash bring a plug because they dont have them for hygiene reasons. When you first got to hospital you need to check in, you go in hospital at front and take first right to check in, there is a machine with 5 buttons press the top button, take the number wait to be called and check in. If your a bloke or a female gibbon shave your tummy before you, i didnt and had a nurse do it but she uses no foam and cheap razor and it itches like mad afterwards. Hope all this helps someone, I will add more if I remember anything else. Some questions from Me, So soon after am I allowed black coffee i sooooooo miss my coffee ???? Also am allowed to make the girlfriend dress up as a sexy nurse, she says bugger off your ill i say it is my right, your views ?? In reply to my fall i did mention it to Dr Chris and he said "this is not acceptable" and went off to sort them out so hopefully this will not happen to others.
