  1. I'm back to posting to try to get back on track. I started with a BMI of 32, and was self pay. I did it because I have serious orthopaedic problems that would be somewhat resolved if I lost the weight and kept it off. I lost 28 polunds and now am stuck and need to get back on track.
  2. I was banded 3 days after you, and am having exactly the same reaction. First fill was great for a day and then nothing. I think part of my problem is that I'm used to mushies, which slip right through. What are you eating? I'm also going back on the 1st and can't wait.
  3. I think you should say that you need time off for a personal reason, and leave it at that, for two reasons. First, naturally thin people are , in my experience, REALLY not supportive because deep down they think that it should be easy to just put down the fork, and we know it is not that easy. Second, as an employer of a nanny, because it is such a close and personal job, sometimes both the nanny and the family really don't need to know every little detail about eachother's lives. It's okay to just make up your mind to do it and avoid those who might not be supportive. They would probably be happier if you found someone who could cover for you for the days off. I did it on Monday and came back to work Wednesday, and didn't tell anyone at work. It all went fine, but my job is less physical than a nanny job. Hope that is helpful.
  4. I too was banded on the 18th and so far am REALLY happy! I've lost 10 lbs and have had a very smooth recovery, and appreciate all the good support and tips on this site. How did you post? I could only figure out how to reply to yours! Are you sick of soup yet?
