I have a consult appt Feb 2 and would like to know why and how any of you decided on lapband vs bypass. I know the pros and cons of both, my doctor prefers bypass, have been on the internet finding info but that makes me more confused. HELP!!!

Hey! I am in the process of getting approved. Consult appt is Feb 2nd. I am sooo confused...tell me how you decided on the band vs gastric bypass. I know both the pros and cons and the doctor who spoke at the seminar said he prefers gastric bypass over the band. I went to the seminar with the intention of discussing the band. Have searched the internet over and over on both and all it is doing is making me more undecided and confused. Please help!!!
