    Tomorrow's THE day!

You go Girl! The surgery will be over before you know it and your new world is awaiting. One step at a time then one day at a time. Good Luck!!!
  2. I too had my surgery on Oct. 22, 2015. The surgery went great, my nurses, CNA's were all top notch!! Friday I was shown how to drink water and was started on protein drink later in the day. Saturday I was home and on my own. I had very little pain after the surgery and because I walked a lot in the hospital, I had very little gas pain. Protein, liquids, and water fill my day. I'm doing fine with the Protein and liquids, but I am struggling with getting in all my water. There just isn't enough time in the day.

    Before surgery diet

I am also scheduled for 10/22/15. I and getting the sleeve after my lap-band broke. The pre-diet is tough, but well worth it!! Just keep doing your best, you'll be glad you did.
  4. Thank you everyone! I'm also going from lap-band to sleeve after my sleeve broke. My surgery is Oct. 22 and I am very excited. Once in awhile I ask myself "what and I doing?" starting over but I need to do this for me. I lost weight with the band, but was very tired of throwing up every day. The sleeve was not available when I was banded, or I would have done it. Y'all have reassured me that I made the right decision.

    My Fitness Pal

I'm Grammydd and I'm set for surgery on October 22, 2015. I'm new to the forum and just love reading all the questions and answers. I'm looking for someone having surgery close to when I am having mine.

    September Banders

I finally got banded on 9/23/10 after working for this for almost 1 1/2 years. Yay!!!!
  8. I have been reading everyones threads, with all the pain and how they couldn't eat this or that. I am not tough at all, but the most pain I had was from the tube down my throat. I am 3 1/2 weeks post-op and I feel no restrictions in my drinking or eating. I stayed on liquids then went to soft-mushy foods and have not had any discomfort at all. I had my first fill, hoping that I would feel some restrictions, but I have nothing. I can eat and drink just like I did pre-op. Is something wrong????
  9. Dee, Thanks, I felt like I was going crazy. So, I guess we just keep working out and exercising and hope for the best. This site is great, but I am not too computer literate so I'll just put my worries toward figuring out how to work this. Thanks for your help. Grammydd
