  1. Hello Everyone- I'm on the schedule to get banded on the 14th of January also. Only a couple more days now! I'm not nervous about the surgery, just ready to get on with the post-op festivities and broth eating! Good luck to everyone else getting the band this week. It's not going to be a piece of cake, but if we give each other enough support, ideas, and inspiration, we'll do great! Greg
  2. Hi there everyone. This is my first post, but I am also having surgery this Thursday, the 14th. I'm excited about it and ready to get on with it so I can begin to eat normal foods again!! (I'm already looking forward to post-op week 3 when I can begin to eat a few things that are soft and pureed!! HA) Anyhow, I'm not nervous about the surgery at all, just ready to get on with it. Like most people, I've had the 6-month waiting period with supervised diet, psych eval, etc. I just have now found this board, so hopefully it will be a source of support and inspiration! Nice to meet everyone! Greg :smile2:
