  1. Death after Lapband!!

    Hi everyone. I recently heard of someone who died shortly after the lapband. Has anyone else heard of such tragic stories of people dying from the lapband??!! I have been struggling with my weight for a long time and was seriously considering getting the lapband but now after hearing about this I am scared and having second thoughts. Please help!

I recently went to an informational session at NYU where Dr. George Fielding was speaking. Has anyone been banded at NYU and if so, can you please share your experience and tell me if you recommend going there? Thanks so much!
