Heya! I know where you are! LOL I got my surgery at Dr Krahn's in the St. Bernardines hospital in San Bernardino. I loved the whole experience, and I am still loving it. I am losing like crazy, doing well. I need to update my ticker, lol, but I am down to 270 now. :clap2: I haven't found any support groups. :phanvan I know they have them at St. Bernardines every month, but I can't make it there, I live 2 hrs away, and I don't drive. Where are you going to be banded?

I am officially on the "band" wagon! LOL I was banded 9-20-06, and I came home the next day. I haven't had any complications, I am feeling great. I am able to drink a lot of fluid. Is that common'? I thought my stomach would hold less than what I am drinking.

Hello! I am also new. I live in Johnson Valley, California. It is in San Bernardino County, the nearest big cities are palm springs and victorville. I am in the middle hehehe. I am being banded on 9-20, this coming wednesday. Anyone close to me that knows of any groups or anything I can attend? Anyone want to create a group?

I am having surgery Wednesday, go for my pre op Tuesday. I am SUPER nervous!!!!! I am also on only liquids, and have been for 3 weeks. Talk about a month in HELL!!! LOL Believe me it's not that bad. It just sucks when I am cooking for my family, it is so hard not to nibble.

I got my surgery date!! It will either be the 20th or the 21st, it doesnt matter to me!!

Thank you all for the wonderful welcome! I am on day 6 of the diet... I am not sure how many lbs the doc wants off, but I am calling monday and hopefully I get my day!! YAY!!

I have a system. I walk a mile and do an aerobics video daily. I have a few videos so I don't get too bored. I am still on pre op, so I don't want to lift weights yet. Any ideas on keeping your motivation?

I talked to the drs office today and they told me to continue on the liquid diet, and tons of exercise, they want me to lose a little more weight before they do the surgery. I call on monday and hopefully they will give me a date!!! I am crossing my fingers!!
