  1. NO! I have only been banded 4 months today and have lost 40 lbs. One of the best decisions I have ever made besides excepting JESUS as my personal savior and having my son. I would have never been able to get rid of 40lbs on my own. Down from size 16 pants to size 12. And down one shoe size. Had great surgeon DR Oliak in Brea, CA and a very good staff and support group. REGRETS. NO I DO NOT THINK SO.
  2. My doc have performed over 10,000 lap band surgeries and have not lost a patient. But if you are afraid. I suggest that you do not have it.
  3. Yes Jessica the lap band really works. I was banded on Dec 30th 2009 and went from a size 16 - size 12 pants and have lost one shoe size. I can only eat 1/4 of what I was able to eat b4 the band. The Lap Band is not a miracle worker but a tool. It is good to change your eating habits. And make wise food choices. I wish you the best on your weight lost journey
