    I was banded this Friday the 11th. I have had terrible pain in my chest, its like a tightness. It hurts mostly when I swallow, like it is my esophogus. Is this normal?

    I am scheduled to have lapband on Friday. I am very nervous for some reason. I have had surgery before, but never of my own choice. My seven year old cries every night and says, "please don't have lapband moma." It breaks my heart and makes me even more nervous. Any reassurance would be greatly appreciated.:scared2:
