  1. a lot of people swear by this 5 day pouch test. It's really just that you start over like when you first got your band. 2 days liquid, 2 mushie, and then solid. I dunno, you can google it. Oolong tea is great for weight too!!
  2. i wish this thread would go away, the title offends me.
  3. I like a cliff Protein bar. its like 280 cal but 20g protein and it helps me get all of my calories in for the day. (some poeple might say that it is too high cal to eat) Or I cook 2 eggs and eat more like 1.5 or canned tuna mixed with miracle whip, mustard, hot sause and relish. that is like almost 250 calories. hmmm I kind of don't like breakfast so sometimes I will just have dinner left overs.
  4. my diet was the strictest I have seen on this site. 3 days before surgery I got the final approval and then something came over me and I had a hamburger. I cried and cried I felt so guilty, but everything with the surgery went fine.
  5. I made my goal! I lost 15!!
  6. awww I was fat too, I just didn't care. I went with a gay.
  7. it seems like a lot of people feel guilty about every little thing that they put in their mouth. I got the band to avoid all of that. Plus, most people were recommended the band because they don't usually make poor food choices, but rather have portion control problems. Everything is fine in moderation, I think. Since I've been banded I have had iced cream, french fries, whatever I felt like, but just a little cause that is all I could fit in. And I don't feel bad!!
  8. My husband told every one we know. I don't think that he thought that I might not want to tell everyone. Mainly, because I don't want to be monitored but also because most people don't know exactly what it is and we have to get into huge conversations of explaining it.
  9. I have my high school prom dress hanging up on my wall as motivation for me.
  10. mine mentions band stuff, but isn't about being banded. Some People Were Born to Rock and Roll...
  11. I am almost 6 weeks post op and am finally just now feeling normal enough to sleep on my belly. It isn't such a fast recovery for everyone. I had a lot of pain.
  12. I'm pretty sure that we established that we meant excess exercise, apart from daily activity.
  13. I'm kinda happy I got married before I lost all of my weight. Honestly, that was one of the reasons I proposed to him when I did. I didn't want to get cocky or get some crazy urge to date around when I had the best man in the world! I got really lucky and he was really supportive. I think it shows that he is secure. He has said a few times to remember how nice he was to me when I get thin. HAHA:tongue:
  14. I didnt start considering myself fat until I started losing weight. I think I would have been depressed otherwise. The problem is now I feel so fat I am more ashamed than before.
  15. to be honest I have yet to exercise a single minute during the weight loss I have achieved so far. In fact, I lay in bed most of the day. Sometimes the whole day (I have other things going on with my health) You don't HAVE to exercise. But if I dont start soon I might get flabby.
  16. OMG EW. I'm glad you're leaving him!!
  17. the same hair color? now that is some will power!
  18. cool I'm following all of you:biggrin:
  19. be careful not to replace your food addiction with another one. My mother did that and has been hospitalized 3 times in the past year for alcohol abuse.
  20. the very title of this thread is upsetting
