  1. ________________________________________________ Hi Barbara, I'm being banded on January 12th as well - kind of like band "twins" LOL. We are VERY blessed! Best wishes, peace and prayers to you! Hugs, Jackie
  2. I just read on another board that it is possible to have issues with your port if you have had a previous tummy tuck. Does anyone know if this is true and any info on it? Anyone had a tummy tuck before or after their band and if so, any port issues? I'm a bit concerned as I had a tummy tuck about 4 years ago and am 10 days away from my band. Thanks, Jackie
  3. I thought I read somewhere about one but can't find it. I'm sure it is front of my face somewhere! Thanks and Blessings to All! Jackie
  4. A friend and I are being banded in with Dr. Zapata in Monterrey, MX on 1/11 & 1/12. So VERY excited and very blessed. This is a first WLS for her and a revision for me. I had a RNY in 2003 and now joining the B.O.B. (Band over Bypass) club. The RNY was very successful but food is becoming a daily struggle again and I need the added restriction. Hoping to reach my goal weight and not have the daily fight with food! Glad you're all here!!!
  5. Wondering if you found a good dr in Dallas area? I'm being banded in MX in late January and wanting to get aftercare set up before I go. So far I've only got recommendations for FillCenter & a dr. in Grand Prairie (afraid it maybe the one you went to). Thanks!
