Congrats JennyG1971 ...I hope your banding went well and if you are experiencing that shoulder pain dont get discouraged it will go away with plenty of walking --many suggest gas x but it didnt work for me...if it is an issue that you are experiencing try it out for yourself but dont let it get you down (((i say this because that was my biggest hang up and i thought i made the wrong decision but the pain left at about day 5 for me))) and its been smooth sailing since. No fill yet for me but still sticking to soft foods until my first fill...again congrats on your recent decision and new pilgrimage rather than journey!!!!

    ladies you are so encouraging. I too had my surgery on the 11th and was almost thinking the same that i am so hungry but trying to make the right choices...right now i am drinking those 70 calorie soups that are pretty filling as far as my protein i need to step up my game cuz i havent been getting it in ...if anyone has any tips for success please email me some suggestions...good luck amac09 and keep your head up!!! you can do it
  4. unfortunately, my banding is to take place on friday so i cant respond to the weight loss issuse but i did want to respond to encourage you. Your body has been through alot in the past weeks. Dont be down and out on yourself because of the 1 pound loss remember you're still swollen from not only the banding but your previous procedure as well just wait and see once that fluid run out of your body you'll be pleased with the minor results. KEEP YOUR HEAD UP!
