I was thin for the first 24 years of my life.  When I look at the BMI now I was actually underweight.  After I was married I started having miscarriages within 2 years we lost two of our precious children and fought like heck to have children.  After some surgeries and infertility drugs we were successful and were blessed with twins.  I was never able to regain my figure or health after this, I have been diagnosed with hypo-thyroidism (hasimotos disease), Polycystic ovarian disease and other ailments but these are the two I feel have held me back.  I was recently diagnosed with pre-diabetes and sleep apnea and it made me mad I knew I had to do something about it or live like this for the rest of my life.  That's when I finally had the nerve to ask my pcp about the lapband.  I had been thinking about it for two years but I guess it all just happened at the right time.  I am so thankful and pray that I keep losing the weight and look forward to a healthier brighter future.
