I'm researching the possibilities of having this procedure. I would really like to hear from women similar to myself (age, weight, BMI,) to see how they're coming along. Also, I don't have insurance, so I have been thinking about Mexico (can't BELIEVE I'm thinking about surgery in Mexico!?) I've heard a lot about a Dr. Ariel Ortiz in Tijuana, but any info would be great.I'm 30. I drink plenty of water (no additives,) I take a good vitamin multi-pak and usually start my day with a probiotic raw-food green protein drink. I don't smoke and I'm a light, occasional drinker. Once upon a time I was an exercise bulemic in an abusive marriage. I've healed up and moved on, but now I've got a another problem, about 90 lbs of weight gain. I've spent the last two years going to the gym and eating sensibly, and my weight gain has stopped, but I can't get the numbers to actually go down. It's starting to give me a whole new set of complexes, to the extent that recently I completely avoided an opportunity to celebrate the birthday of an old friend and former flame I haven't seen in years, because I couldn't bear the thought of him or any of those old friends seeing me like this. I weigh 240 lbs now, with a BMI of 41, which is morbidly obese. I don't feel morbid, darnit. I don't need to look like it either. Thanks and Loves,Linnipoo
