I am a very hard working mother of three amazing kids...Lyndi is 16, kaytlyn is 15, and Jason will be 14 in february. I have a wonderful husband and we have been togehter since 2002. I have struggled with my weight for most of my adult life, doing the Yo-Yo thing for the najor part of my twenties. I tried countless diets, exersise programs, everything under the sun to maintain a healtyh weight loss with no avail...I researched for years about bariatric surgery and even was scheduled for surgery a few years ago until my insurance changed and the new coverage had an outright exclusion. I felt hopeless. I changed jobs in September of 2008 and it was then that I decided it was time to make something happen. I wanted to be able to run after my kids at the park, slide down the slide with my neice, ride a roller coaster, I had to reclaim my life. I called Dr. Miranda's office that monday and scheduled a preop consult for wednesday and started the paper work. I came home sat the family sown and explained what was fixing to happen. I have the greatest support system in the world because they have loved me big and smaller and I knew they would help keep me motivated when times got rough. Let my journey begin...11/19/09
