  1. I'm almost four weeks out and I'm eating everything now. It slows your weight loss down but you feel more energetic. I've lost 13 pounds, have 80+ to go. I'm encouraged seeing the huge weight losses of people who are 6-9 mos out. I wonder what the average is? My doctor says not to count on more than 1-2#'s a week.
  2. Thanks, Malolfamy. I'm about 4 weeks out and my stomach tells me I'm ready for my first fill. I kind of "pushed the envelope" tonight to see if I had adverse results, ate a little more than normal and had about 1/4 piece of toasted bread, and had no difficulty and probably could have eaten more. I'll call my doc tomorrow! Don't want to go through Thanksgiving without some restriction. That's why I had the surgery!
  3. Hi, I'm also new to this site. I registered a few days ago and have really enjoyed all the information available to us new lapbanders. I was banded Oct 23 and have had smooth sailing since day one. When do most people get their first fill. How do you know when it's time? I have gotten past the "uncomfortable" feeling when eating and have never really felt full, just a little uncomfortable. Is this normal or do you feel full (like Thanksgiving full)?
  4. Wow! 100 Lbs! Can't wait til I get there.
