  1. Today I had a protien shake for breakfast, I make mine with skim milk. For lunch I ate a package of tuna with low fat mayo, lemon juice, pickle relish. For dinner I had a can of mexican chicken soup but I added baked white meat chicken and cooked sweet potatoes.
  2. I'm glad I found this post too. I love my vegi's roasted. I cut them up and put salt, pepper, olive oil sprinkled on them and place in oven till soft.
  3. Oh and although lettace goes doen easy it does not hold that much nutrition. I'm a nut for 'green food' and I found that roasting my vegi's carmalized them and I'm getting better nutrition than just eating a salad. You might want to try that.
  4. I have been banded since 2003. I had a lot of problems and have had the band empty since 2005. I just had it filled last week and I'm doing well this time. It sound like you eating healthy which is the major thing. Are you drinking any protein shakes? A women needs about 50 each day.
  5. Your probably brushing too often and it has irritated your gums. If you told your ortho about how many times you brush they would tell you twice a day. It's more important to floss especially with braces. Deep pockets don't usually bleed and you probably don't have deep pockets or they would have told you this. Poor nutrition does not lead to bleeding gums but over brushing does. Good luck. And communicate to your dentist, he/she will confirm what I just told you.
