  1. I am excited right along with you. Everyday when I think about how soon I'll be banded (12.21.09) I get more and more excited. You are truly blessed to have an insurance provider that covers the surgery whether you had to do the 6 month thing or not. I did the same thing with my primary care trying to help me out but when I plateaued he wouldn't prescribe any more diet pills so I just gained my weight right back. I have weighed out (no pun intended) the benefits of being banded vs. not banding and I know my expense will be well worth it!! Congrats!!!!!!!!
  2. Hi everyone, I'm new here. I have decided to do the band and my surgery date is 12/21/09. I am beginning to get excited but like Neener I feel the 'what if' anxiety and I just pray that the band will the the tool that i have needed all this time. I just feel i can not control my eating and hope the band will help me with this. I have enjoyed everyone's posts and i hope to keep in touch with you all. :redface:
