  1. Thanks for all the quick responses, I will do my best,
  2. I am going for surgery tomorrow to remove the lapband and have the sleeve done hopefully all in one procedure but I am scared I tolerated all things after the band was done and have read on here that some people really have trouble with lactose and other foods and I am afraid that will happen to me.Is it normal? Do most people have problems or only a few? Also I weigh 184 lost 50 pounds after band but have not lost in 2 years I am worried that because I am starting at a lower weight than most that I will not be successful. Any help from would be greatly appreciated Thanks everyone in advance
  3. Thank you Susan and jhansen71 both of your posts put me right at ease. Congrats to you both on your success. Next question though I have yet to find a protein powder that is truly tasteless or not gross. Any advice? Thanks girls it is so nice to have people to talk to.
  4. Wow this was the first post on here that made me not so scared, I am going from lapband to sleeve due to complications with RA and frankly reading some things on here are scary,
  5. It's very scary reading all the posts on this site. I don't understand why people say they can still choke on things I understand with the band I have but why with the sleeve? I was wondering how long was everyone out of work for. I am a nurse and with my band I was out a week but is it different with the sleeve? This whole process is scary.
  6. I am switching from lapband to sleeve due to health complications( my RA is out of control since I got the band) Just wondering how eating is with the sleeve, right now I can tolerate all foods in moderation and with careful chewing and don't want to loose that. Any help would be appreciated,
  7. Wow, you all seem to do so well, I am 2 weeks post op and following all rules and have gained 3 pounds. Help!
