  1. Test #2 is positive as well. Eep!
  2. My surgery is scheduled 5 days from now. I just got a positive pregnancy test (pee on a stick). I'm kind of hoping it's incorrect. We'd been trying to get pregnant since April, but I had since decided I would go ahead with the surgery first. Can you say horrible timing? I've already paid for the surgery and everything!
  3. November 4th here. This has been a whirlwind experience. From consult to surgery is less than one month!
  4. It seems to be getting easier. I'm less hungry and definitely not having the crazy carb cravings I was having the past couple of days.
  5. It's the 2 week pre-op diet recommended by my surgeon to shrink the liver. I'm sure it's better than the liquid diet but it's still hard for me to stick with it. So hungry!
  6. I'm having a difficult time sticking to this Atkins business. After a couple of days I found myself cheating. I'm having extreme hunger even after eating a ton of protein. I'm also feeling weak and lightheaded. The dietitian made it sound like it was normal to not be "strict" though. My surgery is scheduled for November 4th. Pre-op appt. is in the morning. Not sure about continuing this diet for another week.
