30lbs down,thats good...I dont have a date yet i will begin orientation classes in Jan. (6wks) then i guess my surgery will be scheduled. I'm just super hyped...I want my confidence back, I want to shop and I have a few ppl I wanna floss on ....LOL. Oh and of course ultimately I want to be healthier. Thanks for replying...keep posting pics, it helps others to stay motivated etc.

Hello tmg333...Your story is very similiar to mines. I'm 290 and just got approved for the band...cant wait my goal is 240 (for now). Did you decide on one weight and decided to go lower?
