depending on your insurance, you will need to do either 3 or 6 months of visits with a nutrionist. thats what step i'm on : )

Hey all, I just wanted to know if anyone with Medi-cal has had their surgery approved or denied and the reasons why. also, how long did it take from start to finish for you? i have medi-cal and am trying to find out as much as possible about the process with medi-cal.

I told my dad, older brother, little brothers mom, and my bf. I don't plan on telling any of my friends. I don't need their negative thoughts and emotions affecting my goals and making me feel stupid for making the decision to get banded. maybe once i loose the weight i'll be more open about the band, but for now, its my little secret.

You should look up the Obesity Control Center (OCC) They're located in Tijuana, and they have great reviews. Price wise, I believe its about $7300 plus airfare
