  1. wow 33lbs is still good i think thats nice to see other people that kind of go through the same thing so i know its not my band thats not working i just need a fill and i cant wait for mine eather! Thanks for the support guys!
  2. wow 18 pounds the first week is wayyy better then me! since i had my band on the 7th i have lost about 10 pounds. Its going a little slow for me but the docter told me a lot of people do not lose a whole lot of weight in the first 4 to 6 weeks. When you get your first fill you should start losing weight a little quicker and you will be more used to having the band and learning how to use it. Im still learning a WHOLE lot my self but im not going to be to worried yet about not losing weight super fast.
  3. Ahhh ok thanks for that info. i never knew that i just knew that throwing up can cause problems but im sure now i wont make the same mistake again!
  4. Hello, Im new to this lapband community and I have to say I am very happy I found it. I go to school fulltime and I don't have time for support groups yet so this will hopefully help me out a lot! I just got my band October 7th 2009 and I am already on the pureed stage. Its been hard for me but I have been following the diet strictly until yesterday. I ate a couple pieces of cheese and turkey and I am regreting it now because I don't know if this would effect my healing process. I dont know if it is a really big deal but would this hurt anything?? I was kind of worried after because they say how important it is to follow the diet 100%. This may sound like a dumb question but im very new to this whole lapband thing.
