  1. Anyone try the Omni products and diet? 45 to goal and trying to get back on track...
  2. I was banded in Feb. of 2010, starting weight of 308 and I'm currently at 218. I haven't lost any weight really in about 8 months. I want to try low carb and get the last 40 pounds off. Please offer me suggestions, recipes or a few days of menus to get me jumpstarted. I've come too far to settle at this point, life has just been crazy and I haven't paid attention to what I have been taking in every day. Thanks for any helpd and suggestions:)
  3. I got a voicemail from Joyce at Dr. Brengman's office. SHe told me to call her tomorrow after 9 to discuss what I needed for surgery. Does this sound like I was approved by insurance?
  4. I got the obesity rider anthem required to cover WLS, however, they are telling me that they will not cover the pysch eval or the nutrionist. Anyone else run into this?
  5. What exactly are co-morbities. My insurance doesn't require any supervised diet period prior but it does require 2 co morbities. I am healthy as a horse, minus being 100+ pds overweight with a 40+ BMI.
  6. Just wondering if anyone has gone thru Lap Band with Dr. Brengman. I have my first appointment with him on Oct 21st. Wondering if anyone can tell me what to expect from the first visit and what your experience with him has been.
