  1. i know you would think that this would be an easier thing for me to figure out. i know that i don't want to take vits the rest of my life. well if i feel like that then why don't i just go with banding? but then the other part of me feels like i'm not going to lose the weight. i weigh 250 and would like to get down about 100 lbs. i my mind for some reason i feel like i'm going to be unable to do that with the band.
  2. Hi everyone, I'm new here. I am still not sure if I want to have WLS RNY or Lap Band. Of course there are pros and cons to both. Instead of getting into a big list of both I will list the main ones. RNY: Pro: faster loss Con: malabsorbtion Band: no malabsorbtion but slower loss. I have a BMI of 41. I weigh 250 and I'm 5-5" I'm looking for feedback ... I don't need all 100 lbs to drop in the first 6 months.
