I've had Type II for 3-4 years and while I'm very active and excersise 10 or more hours per week, I struggle with getting the weight off and I can't control my blood glucose. I'm researching if Lapbanding will be my option to get off the medication and keep me off. My current BMI is 27.5...not what you would call heavy...but still I need to find a solution. If there is anyone out there with a similar history that has had success with banding, i would like to hear their story. Thanks.
