I have been trying to find out from my insurance company why they do not cover the lap band. They kept calling it an exclusion, but...I found out from the Dr. office that will be performing my band that they talked with my insurance company and who ever she talked to said that it is not an exclusion. To me that is a big WOOHOO, or is it, what does that mean. To me that should mean that they should pay something. Can anyone help me so I know if it is a WOOHOO or a BOOHOO. Hello, This is my first day on the chat room. I am just starting to get thing together for the lap band. I am going to have it done in mid-October. I wish I was haveing it done tomarrow but I must be patient. I look forward to meeting new lappers. Just wanted to introduce my self and get started to a new me. I am married and involved in alot of things but want to do more. My weight has always been a problem, I weighed 183 in high school. Boy I would love to see that again. Actually I would love to see alot less. I weight 370 now and know with the support of my husband and family and now new friends like all of you I can do it. Thanks, Skinnyjenny:hippie:
