Well i have struggled with weight issues my whole life.  I have PCOS, Alopecia Areata, Hirtuism, Vitiligo (well i pretty much define auto immune).  I was recently married, some day we would like to have a child.  I had tried all kinds of different diets and programs and plain and simple i made the decision to go forward with this surgery after researching it.  Of course i wanted my insurance to cover it and they wouldnt.  I fought with them as i have on many issues in the past.  I simply decided that i was not going to let other people have ownership over my life any longer and gave up.  Well i wouldnt say gave up, i fired them!  My life is much more important and i prefer to have control over it so i took matters into my own hands.  Of course it was a huge desicion, i put my self in a very bad position financially, im strapped, who isnt?  My husband and i will make it through this, because its important to both of us for me to get healthy.  When i finally made up my mond it didnt take long.  And here i sit 8 days out, feeling so-so(not going to lie) but happy with my decision and working hard every step of the way to make sure i am successful.  More to come...
