Hey everyone we are offically whooped!! Hope everyone is having a great day.....So here is what happened at our orientation..... Liz and I arrived (we were the first people there and an hour early). WE got into class and weighed in...Sarah was there and she had us fill out our appointment papers she mentioned having a few appointments for today to see Dr. Fisher in Vacaville. we both put we were open avaiability and GUESS WHAT!! she got us in today!!! SHE ROCKS!! WE were shaking we were so excited and nervous. So we had an hour to kill so we filled out our paperwork and waited for our appointments with "our surgeon" Dr. Fisher..... when they came out to call Liz's name first they asked if we wanted to dcome back together so we said SUre... SO yeah we had our surgeon appointment together. lol... Dr. Fisher said he wants us both to get down to 225 and then come and see him again. He asked us to weigh in 2 x a week and email him our progress. He also gave us a packet about the sleeve. John they didnt talk about it except for a few minutes..... SO looks like Liz has to lose 23 lbs and I have to lose 29 lbs.... WE GOT THIS!! we start our new life tomorrow!!! WE are so excited we were able to go to class and have our surgeon appointment in one day!!! Ok well I am off to relax and get my breakfast ready for tomorrow...:drool: Have a great nite all!! OMG everytime I think about after orientation i get butterflies in my tummy..... hehehehe I am so excited and sooooo nervous. I think I am going to cut out carbs from the get go.. I dont want anything unecessary ya know... i already started my 1/2 cafe 1/2 decafe coffee this weekend and I think I am going to survive lol... I dont feel any more tired than I already do hehehe so I think I will be ok.. I am down for Vallejo I think that would make more sense for us in Sac & EG but I am ok going anywhere as long as I get to hang out with all you FAB Ladies Its worth the drive!! OMG where are we going to eat I need to pre-plan my meal lol... Im a freak about planning. So I went and got some food, Cottage cheese and salad stuff for wednesday... So exciting lol... I ate Taco Bell (MY FAVORITE) today for lunch and got a little teary eyed knowing it was my last. hehehehehe.... And believe me we are going to Starbucks to get our large 5 shot coffee tomorrow and our McD's.....YEE HAW!! Candra you are motivation because the progress you have made in 5.5 months is AWESOME!! I cant wait until I am motivating the newbies.... YAY.. Everyone ROCKS thanks for the best support ever!!

Hey YA'll I got my Orientation date!!! My Dr put in my referral this morning and I got into the November 3rd class with Elizabeth YAY.... We are goin to Vacaville!! OMG OMG OMG I am so excited.. Good Morning everyone!! So my class is Monday YAY I am so excited... Elizabeth said she talked to someone about the losing weight now and she said NO wait until Orientation so Yes they are still going by that weight. the person who spoke at her class just didnt know what she was talking about hehehehe.... So I am going to my class and then callin my PCP for my orientation referal. YAY.. Anyways... I got a gym membership but am thinking now I should have waited oh well I can go sit in the spa lol.. Hope everyone is doing good cant wait to see you all again!!

Elizabeth went to her information meeting yesterday and they told her she can star losing weight (even if its before her orientation) She thinks they are changing the way they do things.. She said they told her they go by her last charted weight.. So we'll see. I cant wait until mine on Monday, I just want to get into orientation get this ball rolling!! hehehe anyways!! Thank you so much everyone for welcoming me!! This is a huge journey ahead of me and its nice to know there are others out there so willing to give any information. My orientation in at Point WEst in Sacramento on the 5th of next month so a little over 2 weeks away YAY!! I have been reading so much stuff and its awesome. So here are my questions hehehehe...... I called into my PCP this morning and asked for a referal for the Nut and Psych, I got a call back from both to schedule appointments. Is it ok to get both of those appointments out of the way before orientation or is it pointless? Once I go to orientation, how long does it usually take to get a Surg apt? I have read on here some get them right away and some it takes a month or so. Do they schedule you at orientation? (i read that too) AND then.... Once I am done with orientation and I start the 1200 cal diet, whats the time frame and what happens next??? I guess I am jiust a little confused on the order of things... Im sorry for asking so many questions but you all see so helpful. Does everyone live in or near Sacramento?? Thanks again everyone . Nicole
