I'm a 21 year old nursing student from Northeast Ohio and have recently become interested (after many, many failed dieting/exercise attempts) in seeing what my options are for getting LapBand surgery. I have been overweight most of my life and it's really something that has held me back from alot of things because it's not how I feel on the inside. I feel like a skinny girl but when go by a mirror it's a different story. I want my outside to match what I feel on the inside! For me this is Day 1 of what I'm sure is going to be a long, albiet rewarding process. I'm kind of going at this alone so I joined this site for some helpful guidance as to where I'm supposed to go, what I'm supposed to do to help direct me when it comes to getting insurance to cover it, what to ask doctors, how to find a surgeon and costs!
