Your weight loss is amazing.. I am on practically the same diet as you were and was wondering the same thing.. I am sticking too it rigidly but panicking that my liver may be too big when they operate... I am only on day 3 of pre op diet with 10 days to go.. am also getting banded in Derby.. :blushing:

My op is due on the 30th Sept.. I started my pre op diet today which is basically a 1,000 cal a day diet... It's hard going but I am determined to stick to it (and it's only day one :tongue_smilie:) Feeling very excited about my op, but already the nerves are kicking in...

Hi all, am new to the site.. I get banded on the 30th September and have just started the pre op diet today... I am wondering how long it takes until you are up and about after surgery... :thumbup:

Hi, I received a phone call today saying my operation for a gastric band will be carried out on 30th Sept.. so i need to start my 2 week pre-op diet tomorrow... The information for the pre-op diet was supposed to be emailed to me, but I have not received it.. am wondering if anyone knows what the pre-op diet is for Derby hospital... Thanks in advance...
