  1. Hi all, I'm glad to see all are well. John-You deserve to give us an ear full. We can handle it...That's some funny stuff!!! LOL... Keep it coming. Jes-I'm glad you bought the tank. I love it too. It supposed to be lightweight. In comparison to the $150. original BM. But it's restrictive enough for me. I try to wear it 3-4 times per week. I would wear it everyday but I notice it making these marks on my shoulders and I want to be able to wear tank tops in the summer with the ugly lines. I am wearing mine tomorrow to help restrict my eating.
  2. Good Morning All! Tina-I paid $30 on Ebay. I love this thing. I put it on everyday and have slept with if on the small of my back...My husband always laughs at that. I thinks I'm crazy...Trying to log all of my steps. Yesderday's total was 10,391. Today????? I may not be so lucky. Food so far: B-1 scam. egg, 2 sausage links, and 1/4 cup hashbrowns, 4oz OJ. Planned-???
  3. Hi Heather-It depends. For example, the other day, I did 10,395 steps and it was 3.38miles. Right now, I'm at 9311 steps and is measures 3.41miles. I always hear that it's good to aim for 10,000/day. I usually average 4,000-5,000 on a day when I do not exercise. I think that's pretty good too. You can look online at various sites to see what's good. I saw a site that had a chart with labels of poor, good, fit, very active, etc.... measurements. What model Omron Pedometer did you get? I have the one that I think Pat has. It is PC compatible. You can connect it to your computer and see different charts for the days, months, and up to 4 years logged. The unit itself stores 7 days.
  4. Hi Gang!!! John and Lee-Toot, toot, toot...your horn away....LOL I feel so darn good. I hit the gym this AM and am already at. ...8,915 steps....I am going to hit 10,000 today for sure. Just popping in and out....TTYL.....

  17. Good evening all! Jes-Every 2 weeks comes around so fast. I totally forgot the meeting was this Wed. I just may try to make it. dinner was so good. I ate 1/2 of a lobster tail, almost half of a ribeye and a tiny bit of rice and 2 broccoli florets. I am comfortable, not stuffed. I did have some camomile tea about an hour before dinner so that I woud not overeat.... Ashley-Do you want to go to the Richmond support group meeting if I go? I can drive. Tamra-good for you girl. Did you hit the treadmill??? Candra-Thanks for the support. BTW, last week I lived on Theraflu. I had to take something. If it weren't okay...Opps!!!:hurray: I survived and I felt a hell of a lot better. I hope you feel better. How we can't be the kind of peps that lose when they're sick???? I make me want to eat all kinds of stuff....Ya know? Feed a cold???? Never starve??? ROTF LMAO. Heather-Sorry you're sick. How was the weather when you were doing your 5k? Get well and sweat!!! 18. Happy Valentine's Day! I hope all are well and on track. I did manage to go to the gym...Thanks to a friend of mine who wanted to join...Otherwise, I was going to flake out. We did a Step Aerobics class and sat in the dry sauna for 10mins. We even got in the hot tub for 5 minutes. I'm at 9760 steps so far and the day isn't over. Whoo Hoo!!! Valentine's dinner is-Ribeye steaks and lobster tails on the grill, baked potatos and steamed broccoli...I do plan to eat... Heather-You go girl! Pat-How are you feeling??? Nicole-You doing so good. Sorry mommy had to leave. Does she come often? John and Lee-It's the count down now. I know you both are super ready... Ashley-I totally understand your situation. Just know everything will work out. He is so lucky to have you to be able to step in to care for him. Tina is right. You need to call in some authorities so that the neglect is well documented. Some women are not good mothers, naturally. Hopefully, she can someday turn her life around and become the mother he needs her to be. Just remember your goals and why you are doing this. Good job on getting most of the $$$. I just wish there were some other way. Riley Jane??? Where the heck are you? Why are you not on here as much? You are one of the main reasons I joined this thread when I was just a lurker. I miss you lady.... Come back. Tina-How are you girl? I'm glad to see you are in good spirits. Be sure to let us know what happens with the new fill location. I have to get to 195lbs by the end of the month. I need to lose 4-5lbs. Can I do it??? Food so far on V-Day: B-Green tea with Peach and Starbucks Carmel macchiato later L-1/3 Costco cesear salad w/ chicken and 4oz pink lemonade D-will be steak, lobster, baked potato, steamed broccoli....I just hope I can contain myself and don't eat it all!!! LOL
  19. Great thread. It's always good to see where others have come from and where you currently are. I have a hard time visualizing size and weight. I am not a very good judge/estimator of weight. I am a bit different from many people. I never saw myself as an overweight person. I felt like a smaller person. I would see myself in photos and say, "Wow, I thought I was looking cute! Those are my clothes but damn...Is that how I look?" Or I would just plain hate the picture or even taking pictures.....Things are changing............ Starting size-18/20, highest weight 255lbs. Current size-12/14, although I bought a pair of 11 juniors jeans yesterday! OMG!!! I feel-Renewed and sexy!!! Somedays, still fat.... I need to work on-my stomach and toning My Goal-150lbs.... I am having the time of my life....Still learning my band.....Still loving my band.....
  20. Good morning all! Have a great day!
  21. Thanks Tamra and Nicole for the the weightloss whoorah!!! I so need the encouragement. Some days....I'm off and appreciate the comments... Jes, I plan to get a few good workouts in this 3 day weekend. I feel so sluggish. With the illness that has swept through my household, I have not exercised at all. I plan to hit the treadmill tomorrow and Saturday and the gym on Sunday morning for a step class. Nicole-Way to go on the walking but be sure to take it easy and get lots of rest. You just had major surgery. You too will be in Onederland soon. Soon we will not be able to share clothes...I'll have to fight you for them. 3/20 works for me too!!!
  22. Pat-wow you are rockin' the band! You will be in Onederland real soon. I see your ticker!!!!!! Whoo Hoo!!!!!
  23. Wow! John has jokes!!! Get him Candra! John-didn't you say Nikki was gone? Give me her boots! Lol
  24. Okay, since my scale has said 198.3 yesterday and 198.2 today....I feel confident in changing my ticker...Here goes..... I'M IN ONEDERLAND!!!!!!
  25. Good evening!!! Lee-That may have been me that mentioned the soup. I only said that to Tamra regarding eating out with friends. I know "they" say we are not supposed to be eating soup, as it is considered a "slidder" food. However, when dining out with friends, considering my level of restriction, I'd rather eat soup than run the risk of getting sick/something stuck. Especially since many of my friends do not know about me being bannded. Also, I love soup. The main reason they say no soup is because many times it is not filling and will not keep you full for 3-4 hours. It does for me though. I usually choose soups that are broth based so I don't get the extra calories. You will probably not want much soup after you leave the pureed stage. You may not even want to think about it. Most want to chew. I on the otherhand love soup and will probably eat it forever. LOL.... I think I ate too much for dinner....I'm sitting very upright... I may have to go walk on the treadmill. I really do need to exercise. I have logged 5469 steps and feel very tired though...What to do??? What to doooooo!!!
