  1. Vickie, What you said makes a lot of sense we just can't give up, even if it takes us years. someday we will be at our goal weight. I too have to stop drinking while I eat I was told that was a no! no!. That will only alow you to eat more than you should. So my goal for this week is to not drink anything during my meals and drink lots of Water after. I will see if that makes a difference overall. Like you said I to find it odd that the wrongs foods are the easiest to dijest. doesn't make sense but they are. So making a few adjustments and trying to stick to them will be my goal this week. Hope everyone has a great week and I suggest to try something different everyweek to see what works for you.....
  2. Hello everyone, I have a questions for all you slow loosers, because I am one too. What works to stay on track and focus on moving forward and not staying still. I have been trying for weeks to loose pounds and I just don't seem to be getting anywhere. I eat very little but I know its probably what I do eat. What suggestions do you have to help me move forward.
  3. thanks vinesqueen for your advice on the water aerobics, I was initially doing water exercises right after surgery but the insurance will no longer authorize, and I do not have a gym that provides a indoor pool. I will just have to wait for the summer for that exercise. But I will try to walk at least two to three times a week to see if it helps. as far as the weight loss, it seems frustrating because I have not lost anything in the past month. maybe because of the holidays, hopefully this month will be better..Although it seems that most people loose a lot more in 4 months that I have. thanks, lady737
  4. I have am definately a slow looser, I have only lost 27lbs in 4 months, that is really slow, I am struggling. probably making wrong food choices and not exercising. I have a hard time exercising since I had back surgery I can't do any strenuous work. Anyone have any Ideas what might help me. please advise. :help:
  5. I was banded on 8/10/06. I have had a hard time staying on the liquid diet. I have started eating small amounts meats, especially chicken, and taking tinny bites. but I had a bad day yesterday I ate to much and felt sick, did not get sick but just felt the golf ball all night long. I am a bit frustrated cause I have not lost any further weight. I do feel restricted still since I can only east so much. I lost 17 pounds the first two weeks but on my third week since I have been eating a little more solids I have gained 5 pounds back. Will I gradually loose or what do I need to do....
