  1. I like the Special K Protein shake in chocolate.
  2. I am having a problem this last week too. My weight has been fluctuating from 193 all the way to 201 in a week. I am not eating any more or less than I have been, nor drinking anything that I shouldn't. I don't understand why my weight is doing this. I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem before I call the dr. I have upped my exercise regime for the month of February as I couldn't exercise (Curves) too much for the months of Dec. and Jan. as I had foot surgery, but I maintained my weight at 193 during that time. Also, I couldn't lose any. I don't feel that I am in the green zone yet on my adjustments.
  3. :wub:I have no idea what size band I have, and I had my first fill on Monday, 11/16/09, I had to wait 90 days, because the insurance wouldn't cover it. I don't feel any restriction either, and I am eating solid foods. I am very disappointed. I don't see the dr. for 6 weeks, should i call and say the first fill isn't working like I would like it to be. I haven't lost anything since Monday!!!:bored::cursing:
  4. I am glad that I am the only one that couldn't follow the rules, I figured since the food is going down, and I am not throwing up why not. Bad think is my ins. co. won't let me have my 1st fill until 90 days after the surgery, so I have to try to maintain the weight that I am, since I have lost some. I am working hard on eating 3 meals a day, drinking when appropriate and getting protein in. This in itself is exhausting work, hopefully by the time I have the fill I'll have the 3 meals down pat.
  5. I had my surgery on the 17th also, I stayed in the hospital overnight, as I don't handle the anesthetic very well. I did get a patch for the nausea before surgery too. I was not up and walking around the 1st night, alls I wanted to do was sleep. The 2nd day I did get up and move around. By Thursday I was off all pain meds and not taking anything. On Sunday though, I couldn't stand another liquid entree, so I tried an omlet, and I was able to eat it and not throw up. I am still eating foods, even though I should only be on pureed food. But I haven't been sick yet. I have learned to eat slow, and to drink slow.
