I never have had a period without help of pills such birth control or progesterone, I dedicated myself to find out what was wrong with me and in 2000 I came a crossed a TV talk show raising  awareness about PCOS. Back then PCOS was not a lot of research or information about it, so when I brought it up to my GYN, he gave a blank stare for a couple of seconds, then smile and said "let me do some test!." He soon confirmed my suspicion and ever since then my weight has been a roller coaster.  My weight has caused me to have diabetes, sleep apnea, and infertility. By getting the Lap band, I am hoping to get off medication, lose weight, and become a mommy! I am supper exited of all the possibilities and the major changes in my life.
