  1. Hello everyone! I am new to your site. I'm hoping to get the lap band done. Insurance is not my issue. I had a stomach stapling in the early 80's, but they came out and I put 100lbs back on. I'm trying to find a doctor who will do the lap band surgery. I was turned down without being seen because the center believes there might be a scar issue problem. Will try to be seen to be eval. for possible band.
  2. I am new to your site and have a question. I was wondering if anyone has had any type of stapling in the past before deciding to get the band placed? I had a successful stomach stapling in the early 80's, but the staples has come out and I put 100 pounds back on. I want to do the band surgery, but not sure if scar tissue will be an issue. Thanks for your comments.
