I too have a growling tummy. I got my band on 09/24. Those first few days, I felt like I was walking around with a angry puppy. Finally it seems the growling is starting to ease up. I cant really tell when I am full either. I get this tight feeling around my rib cage and then I stop. I may not be eating quite enough but I dont want to start vomiting and cause that kinda of discomfort. My body seems all new to me now. Full of strange noises and feelings. Sure is making it interesting.

Hi yall. I got my lap band on 09/24/09. Not much pain, just some muscle soreness on left side. The weirdest thing for me so far has been my tummy growling, even when I think I am full. If this tightness around my rib cage means I am full. lol. Anyway, I wanted to say hi and join the group. Just a quick note to let those who were so supportive know that I made it through the surgery fine. Wasnt much pain. Just soreness on one side. I was able to eat right after the surgery. Was surprised to still have a growling tummy. Looking forward to that going away.

MrsG, I really don't know if he does that or not. I have been on a semi-liquid diet for 2 weeks. One small low-fat meal a day allowed. For some reason today has been the hardest diet day thus far. What pre-op plan did you follow. I like that ticker icon in your posts. I should maybe find one for me too.. for all the weight I am going to lose....I hope.

Thanks MrsG... Good luck to yu tomorrow too. I am scheduled for 9:30. i am excited too. Just mainly apprehensive. Hard to believe I am going to have this life changing surgery done and be able to go home in a few hours. Its just amazing.
