I tried to think of a time in my life when I wasn't overweight and I stopped trying when I went as far back as elementary school. I like food. I don't eat when I'm sad or anxious. I eat because its enjoyable. I consider myself a smart woman. I know that eating healthy and exercising are the only way to lose weight. But I couldn't get over my love of food. It took me over 4 years to take the plunge and get the band. I want to be a good role model for my daughters and enjoy things that I can't due to my weight. I know that portion control is my biggest problem. I consider myself a healty cook but eating enough for 3 isn't healthy no matter what you are eating. I am looking for the band to help me control my eating my limiting my portion size. I will make the right foods and get myself to the gym. The band is the tool that I need to make all of this come together.
