  1. I had this problem too and during the clear liquid stage, the doctor had me taking liquid immodium. 5 days later, once I was on the 3 shakes a day, he has me having one activia light vanilla yogurt (70 calories) a day to regulate my stomach flora and I am fine now.
  2. I had my surgery August 12th and I had a punched in the gut feeling and some other pains and symptoms. I called my doctors office and they met me at the office on a Saturday because it was too tight. Call you doctor ASAP.
  3. I had this problem yesterday, I could not drink more than 40oz of water, I was hiccuping and I felt like my stomach was in my throat, had a kicked in the gut feeling and my left rib had a stitch in it and then heartburn. I called my doctor yesterday (on Saturday), they had me go into the office, they came in and took fluid out of my band, it was filled to tightly. Call your doctor, that's what they get paid the big money for. it is better to be safe than sorry.
  4. You will be fine, it is natural to be nervous. Think about how far you have come and just be strong, because everything is for a new you and a fresh beginning. This surgery should give you hope, that you can do it! I just had my band in on August 12th and am feeling great and you will soon too! -Stacey
