  1. Hi again ladies, thanks so much for the info and welcome. Since I am just getting started I don't have anything to report but again wanted to say thanks and well keep on reading your great blog.
  2. Good Morning ladies, I have been reading your blogs for the last couple of days, So glad I found you. You all have great information and seem very supportive of each other. Just starting the process with Richmond Kaiser orientation on July 28 , I met with Dr. Parks on Friday have to lose 25 pounds to get a surgery date she said after the goal its a 6 to 8 week wait(not bad from what I have heard). I have a couple of questions 1. Have any of you had Dr. Parks as your surgeon? If so what did you think ? 2. What are the pre op tests and class requirements I know there is alot but wonder if anyone has a list. 3. Do any of you wish that you went with the RNY instead or are you happy with the Lap Band? Thanks for your help I am looking forward to being a part of this great group. Lori
