  1. Hi melissa, I was banded on sept.16 and have 5.8ccs in my 10cc band and am at the point of almost being too full. But I have to tell you I didnt have very much restriction with my 1st three fills..it was the fourth one that really hit the spot. Everyone is different and finds their sweet spots at different cc's but my advice is to just keep going in for your fills, you will eventually feel it.. Good luck!
  2. Hi Silly....I hope the band really works for you! i was banded sept. 16 2009 and I LOVE IT! I started out at 242 surgery day and am down to 209...it is a slower weight loss but it has been a steady decrease in weight every week. Well good luck and if you have any questions feel free to ask, i will help out if i can.
  3. ah ok...thanks guys...makes sense
  4. ok I hate to sound dumb...but what is onederland?
  5. Hi guys, I am having a little problem...I am 2 and a half weeks post op and was feeling fine until about three days ago...I started the mushie phase and all of a sudden I started getting nauseous..even the thought of eating anything pureed and i am ready to throw up...matter of fact the thought of eating just about anything makes me very nauseated...i talked to the surgeon on call tonight and he prescribed me some antinausea pills but they arnt working very well...and also now i am having some very mild soreness in the stomach area...anyone else have this or know anything about this...any input would help..thanks guys.
  6. I Hope your surgery went well...welcome to the banded side...
  7. Hi Sandy- you are definately not alone on the nervous part. I was banded on sept 16th and am now almost on my eleventh day on the full liquid diet and there are some days that i am wondering if i am going to be able to do this...but the surgery was totally worth it! The pain will subside in a few days and you will be feeling much better. Good luck!
  8. Ok guys I have felt really well since my surgery and not really hungry at all..a little at times but not bad. I had my check up with my doc today and down about 8lbs since my surgery which means i am loosing about 1 lb a day....but tonight i just about lost it, like i said i am not hungry but I am craving TEXTURE!!..crunch , and just general chewing motion in my mouth...I felt like i was going to go crazy...better now after some really liquidy mashed potatoes....is anyone else just craving textured food?...because to me this is the hardest part.
  9. can I be added to the setember bandsters...I dont know how to do it..my band date was 9/16/09.
  10. Hi everyone...I have been banded now for a week and am wondering when the swelling of the stomach goes down...I have lost weight but my pants are quite tight around the belly...loose in the legs and butt..if anyone knows please fill me in.:tongue2:
  11. Hi everyone! I was banded on Sept. 16th and everything is going well.. I am just wondering approximately how much is everyone able to take in per meal...i can probably take in a cup and a half for some meals and others only a half a cup. Also I was wondering if malt-o-meal was considered a liquid...being that I am on a full liquid diet now for the next week and a half I am just trying to see what I can eat.
  12. Good luck to you!!!...I was just banded on the 16th and everything is going great so far. The best decision I have ever made
