  7. I just went out for the first time yesterday (4 days post op) and just walking around Walmart and bestbuy, I had to take my pain meds when I got home cause I felt like I overdid it. Its mostly the area where my port is....soooo sore.
  8. I know its really hard and frustrating too....maybe just pick up ur baby only when necessary until your ready. But at first ur so sore even just to get up and sit down. I'm 5 days post op and couldn't imagine going back 2 work just yet. I feel great but my tummy dosent lol

  10. OMG my son just turned 8 months and I was banded thursday...the Dr. Told me not to pick him up for 4-6 weeks. That's almost impossible for a mom. And really hard for me not to lift him I cried the other day cause I wanted to pick him up so bad. It really. Does make a difference if you do your best cause you will really pay for it if you don't do what your told. Good Luck to you and I hope I feel better soon cause I hate this.

  20. My doc actually advised me not to go back until 2-3 weeks that's why I thought it was bizzare that people go back after just 2-3 days. I hope I'm one of the lucky ones who recover quickly, because I would rather go back sooner.
  21. That recovery was horrible it took me 2 weeks to even begin to feel normal.....that's why I feel like if I went through that I could do anything lol
