  1. I need help with Center of Excellence Hosp and doctor

    I am trying to find a doctor and hospital to have lap band surgery. I have Blue Cross PPO and can only go to Center of Excellence Hospitals. I have found one in my area and on top of billing my insurance, they want to charge a $3500 Program fee. Has anyone heard of this? Does anyone know of a COE hosp and surgeon in Northern Calif. which doesnt charge this fee? I am really getting to the point where I feel like giving up and know that I dont want to. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
