Im having my surgery tomorrow. I was just wondering if any one else had to take an emend tablet for nasuea? its supposed to work for 3 or 4 days.. I just took mine! Im getting very anxious!

Everyone please pray for me!!! Im so NERVOUS!

Im so nervous!! Ive done well on my preop diet. I even went out with friends last night and watched them eat!! It was weird because I didn't even want it. Like I looked at the food and it didn't phase me. Ive lost about 20 pounds.. I can't wait to be banded and see how I progress. Everyone pray for me!! Ive never been put under before!

my dr told me that he absolutely WILL NOT work on patients that have been banded in mexico and if there is a problem you have to pay to travel back to mexico to get it fixed. so in the end youll probably pay more to go back and forth there than the actual surgery in the US

aug 11 for me!

My surgery day is Aug. 11. 10 days left!!! I am excited..but at the same time scared to death of being put to sleep. This will be my first time. I am one of those people who have never even taken pain meds because I dont like the whole feeling groggy thing. Anyone have any suggestions as to what will make it easier? How long will I have that "groggy" feeling? What will they do if I start to have a panic attack? Im terrified I will becuase I have horriable aniexty!! Can anyone put my mind at ease?!

Im getting my surgery same day as you !!!! Im terrified as well. Not so much of the lapband, just getting put to sleep! ive never been under anstheia (sp?) and i am so scared of it! As for the lifting part, my dr. said I could lift things after 2 weeks. It was a concern for me because I have an 11 month old baby
