I decided shortly after having my second child that it was time to get serious about some sort of weight loss surgery. I had weight related complications with my youngest daughter's birth and decided I wanted to be around to see my kids grown up and have kids of their own someday. So, I signed up for Lap-Band. Within about 18 months after going through all of the meetings and appointments, I was scheduled for surgery.
