  1. I also was banded July 20th and have lost 11 lbs so far. At Dr visit this week was told I'm right on track and when I get my first fill next week I'll be able to reduce my caloric intake to 800 per day. This proceedure is designed for slow steady weight loss so I'm having to learn patience and remind myself the goal is to stay on the right path and I'll get there. It sounds like you're doing great !
  2. Had my surgery July 20th, first fill next week. Surgery and recuperation went without a hitch... absolutely no regrets !
  3. I had my surgery July 20th and am going to have my first fill next week...can't wait !! Guess the surgical swelling has gone down because I'm fighting hunger and capable of eating more than I want to. I've lost 11 lbs since surgery and was told at my Dr visit this week I'm right on target. Need to update this darn ticker factory thingy.. somehow
  4. I was banded on Monday and have been feeling tempted to try small amt of solid food, so all this advice is priceless for me. Thanks. I love this website !
  5. I had my surgery two days ago, July 20, by Dr Robert Shin. I have five very small incisions which are sore but tolerable, a little nausea and still feeling sort of wiped out. I am having a real hard time getting miniumum of 60 gms of protein in on this full liquid diet week. I am drinking protein drinks and adding some protein to cream of chicken soup. Any other suggestions?
