I was banded on july 21st and I have not had my first fill yet. i was a little worried that i was still eating too much. until I watched my family eat dinner last night. we had el pollo loco and i had a small chicken breast and a small side of cole slaw. and as i was half way done with my one piece of chicken I watched my family get up for seconds then 3rds. not only was I satisfied with my meal but i was happy that I didnt feel that I needed all that food. So I guess were headed in the right direction.

I had surgery on a friday and was back at work by monday! I was still in a little bit of pain but more then anything just tired , but I got threw the day and it wasnt so bad the next day or the day after that.

you seem to be doing pretty good mark when were you banded .

Hey Beth , I just want you to know that I am going threw the same thing your going threw right now but i have to keep in mind that this is a long term thing now. we need to get our butts in gear and use our will power its only a few more weeks. I know i was feeling a little down to when i stopped losing , but i started walking in the evening 2 days ago after it cools down in the evenning. and it really makes me feel alot better just becuase im doing something about it..... hang in there

My lil one is 8 months and I feel the same thing everyday when I drop him off for day care in the morning. I hate it , but moms gotta pay the bills

Hey guys, well a little frustrated today! I was doing really well when I was first banded 7-21 i have lost about 23 lbs so far. now that I am on solids it has pretty much stoped. I am eating low carbs and doing very well on my portions. I have also started walking every day! Whats the deal here.

I have a current scale addiction also. maybe 3 - 4 times a day! After bathroom breaks , after meals , in the beging of the day at the end of the day. Its crazy but I have been at a stand still for the past couple of days and it making me nuts!!!!!!!!!

I dont have much restriction either but i just try to really limit my portions all the time i dont want to strech anything. Im thinking after we have our first fill it will change

Just a question... I was banded on the 21 of july and since then I have lost about 20 lbs. But I have noticed that I dont have that much restriction since I am not on liquids now. i used to get really full after like a half a cup of soup . now that Im on to solids I dont really feel the same full sensation. is this normal??

I get a wierd pain like that too. i think its some sort of a mussle that hasnt repaired itself yet. I was banded on the 21st on july and the further away I get from the surgery the better it gets

i have a question i hope someone can help , do the fills hurt and can u really feel your port i mean mine is really easy to feel . i think it wont be so bad once i lose some weight. its not that big of i deal i was just wondering if thats the way it should be

now that I think about it your right we did move. I was pretty out of it and forgot about that! I went first, i think because I was the first one there. Me and my mom drove down there becuase I live in So Cal. Dr Kuri didnt have his afternoon meeting with us till almost 9 so everyone was there by then. I am feeling pretty good. I was back to work that monday. The last time check i was down about 10 lbs but i promised myself i wouldnt check again till friday.

I am having the same thing but its not right at my port its down a little further. I think that its a musscle that isnt repaired yet. I dunno for sure but thats my guess. I wonder if the fills hurt?
