  1. Hi I'm not banded yet, but the most critical thing for me with my insulin resistance is the exercise. That is why I'm getting banded. The doctors tell you to exercise but being so heavy it's hard to get to the intensity where it helps. I find walking the dog briskly for 30 min a day has helped my numbers. Also, eating at regularly scheduled times to avoid a drop in your blood sugar will help too. Check with your doc to see what the right timing is for you.
  2. Hello :wub: I am about to become banded....T-26 days to be exact. My husband and I are excited to start our life anew. There are so many simple, day-to-day things I miss being able to do! I look forward to sharing my story and learning the ropes from all of you experienced folks. I am curious about how to get a ticker for my profile??? Any advice on what to expect is appreciated.
